XBLIG v. PC v. Android

Path of King Arthur (POKA) will be launched shortly on three separate platforms: XBox Live Indie Games, PC and Android. The PC and XBox versions were developed using XNA. The Android version of POKA was developed using AndEngine. These two libraries are very powerful tools for solo indie developers, like myself, and although they use two separate languages (C# and Java) the re-coding was not too bad.

In the following weeks and months, I will track how POKA does on the three platforms, and hopefully it will serve as one example as to how a small developer like myself fairs on the different platforms.

The releases for each platform will be influenced by the marketplaces they are released on. This is not a variable that can be controlled, but it is something to be aware of. The following is a list of the marketplaces that will offer POKA.( After the game is released I will update each with a link to the game on that site)
